Restrictions
Tucson cannot ban STRs (Arizona SB 1350 preemption) but the 2023 ordinance imposes mandatory registration, an adjacent-property notification requirement, a designated 24/7 local emergency contact, posted occupancy/parking signage, and stacking nuisance violations. Three sustained nuisance violations within a 12-month period can lead to permit suspension. Sex-offender registry properties are categorically prohibited from STR use.
